Sales Strategy & Operations Manager
Compensation:
Competitive
Location:
On-site (Bengalore)
About the Role
Lucio is an early stage, $5M funded legal AI company, with clients across 9+ jurisdictions. Sales Strategy & Operations is meant to play a critical role in shaping how our revenue organisation scales. This function sits at the intersection of sales performance, systems, and decision-making — ensuring that growth is measured, repeatable, and intelligently executed. We are looking for a Manager to (A) establish and (B) lead this capability at Lucio. You will work closely with founders and sales leadership to design the operating framework that supports forecasting, performance management, pipeline visibility, and sales productivity. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic thinking with operational execution. This position offers significant ownership and long-term impact. You will define how Lucio’s sales organisation runs today, and how it evolves as the company grows globally.
What You’ll Do
1.Strategy & Planning
Build and maintain reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
Generate insights that inform leadership decisions on pipeline, performance,
forecasting, and growth priorities.
Own ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and leadership questions.
2.Systems & Operations
Identify and implement improvements across sales workflows, CRM processes, and
operational systems (primarily HubSpot, Excel and related tools).
Improve data quality, visibility, and process consistency across the sales lifecycle.
Partner with tech and ops teams to design future-state systems as Lucio scales.
3.Sales Enablement & Performance
Design onboarding programs, playbooks, and performance dashboards for new and
existing sales team members.
Track performance drivers to understand what differentiates top performers and how
to replicate success.
Support sales leadership with actionable insights on productivity, conversion, and
efficiency.
4.Cross-Functional Execution
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align systems,
reporting, and execution.
Troubleshoot operational gaps, propose solutions, and drive implementation.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership, and high-leadership role. You will balance solving today’s
problems while building systems for Lucio’s next stage of growth.
What You Bring
High-impact self-starter: You take ownership, move projects forward independently, and thrive in ambiguity.
Startup adaptability: You are comfortable leading an environment where sales processes are not yet well-defined. You are motivated to design structure, enforce discipline, and hold teams accountable to consistently following and improving those processes as Lucio scales.
Strong business judgment: You can break down complex problems and drive them to practical, scalable solutions.
Analytical mindset: You are deeply comfortable working with data to guide decisions. Advanced Excel / Google Sheets and HubSpot skills are essential.
Attention to detail: You care about accuracy, structure, and first-principles thinking.
Communication & stakeholder management: You can work equally well with sales leaders, engineers, marketers, and finance teams.
Experience
3+ years of professional experience in management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred), or in sales operations at high-growth startups.
Prior experience in sales strategy, revenue operations, or GTM analytics is strongly preferred (B2B SaaS is preferred but not necessary).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a strong academic institution.
Why Lucio

We combine deep legal understanding with practical AI systems that lawyers actually use. You will be joining at a stage where your work will directly shape how the company scales — not just maintain existing processes.
Work Environment
Bangalore-based, full-time onsite role.
High ownership, low bureaucracy, and direct access to leadership.
Opportunity to grow into senior strategy, operations, or business leadership roles as Lucio scales.
Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience; including performance-linked incentives and ESOPs, along with other benefits.
