From a prompt to a client ready file: Lucio Elevate now available
Vasu Aggarwal

It is 7PM on a Friday.
A client sends over three years of board minutes, a lending agreement running to sixty pages, and a recording of that morning's call. They need a note by Monday.
The familiar version of that weekend: one associate reads everything, another builds the comparison table by hand, a third listens to the recording twice, and by Sunday evening there is a Word document that mostly confirms what the team already suspected.
Now, Lucio Elevate does the reading, the tabulating, the listening, and the drafting and hands back the ready-to-use Word document for your review.
It produces deliverables, not answers
Legal AI cannot stop at a chat window anymore. A chat answer leaves the last mile to you. Someone still has to turn the text into the thing the client actually receives.
Lucio Elevate finishes the job.
Ask it to build a PowerPoint for the client, and you get the ready deck.
Ask it for a comparison of change-of-control provisions across a document set and you get a populated spreadsheet.
Ask it to summarise the deal structure and you get a diagram.
Ask it to collate annexures, and it gives you the binder. Or ask it to duplicate a letter for five recipients, and it gives you five PDFs.
Ask about the call and you get a transcript, speaker by speaker.
The files come back as files. Open them, edit them, send them.
Five workflows that stand out
Elevate is designed to perform legal tasks end to end. It is broad in its ability to generate outputs, run multi-step workflows, correct its own work, and retain user preferences through a Knowledge Base. Elevate can now draw on all of Lucio's tools and abilities to deep review, deep research, drafting, redlining, tabular review, and translation to carry out complex, multi-step work in one go.
Some initial successful workflows enabled through Elevate are:
Spreadsheets and models.
Lucio Elevate reads Excel two ways as tabular data, hundreds of rows and columns wide, and as a spreadsheet proper, where the meaning lives in the formulas rather than the grid. It can build a covenant compliance schedule, a list of documents, or work through a waterfall and return a file that still calculates.Charts and diagrams.
Structure charts, real estate flows, deal diagrams, timelines. Generated from the documents, not drawn by hand at midnight.Audio.
Upload a recording of a call, a hearing or a client meeting. Lucio Elevate transcribes it with speaker separation, so the transcript reads as a conversation rather than a wall of text, and you can jump to the part you need.Documents.
Draft from scratch or make targeted edits to a document you upload. Save your own or your firm's templates as knowledge to start from.Presentation-ready output.
Ask for a deck and Lucio Elevate builds it as a designed document rather than a rough set of slides closer to something you would send a client than something you would rebuild.
An Elevate that works the way your firm works
After more than four months in beta, Lucio Elevate is now ready to move into general availability for all Lucio users. We are proud of how far it has come, and even more encouraged by how customers are beginning to use it: not as a generic AI agent, but as a system that learns the way each firm works.
As firms build their own knowledge, styles, playbooks and preferred ways of working into Lucio, the quality of Elevate's output keeps improving. That is the direction we are most excited about an agent that does not just become better in the abstract, but becomes better for each firm.
Next: Models trained for Indian legal work
The next step is also bigger. We are preparing to release Lucio's own model work, built from what we have learned about legal tasks and legal workflows more broadly. Our view is that many of these tasks can be performed better, and more efficiently, by models that are post-trained or fine-tuned specifically for legal work, rather than by relying only on general-purpose models. This gives us a path to higher-quality outputs, lower cost, and a product that is increasingly shaped around the actual work Indian lawyers do.
All of it sits behind SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022.
No customer data is used to train models.
