About Lucio
Lucio is building the AI-native workspace for lawyers designed to integrate seamlessly into how legal professionals already work. From contract review to compliance workflows, we help firms operate faster and more intelligently using AI.
Role Overview
You own how Lucio decides what to build, how it builds it, and whether it actually works.
This is not just roadmap ownership. This is ownership of product as a system that drives revenue, usage, and retention.
What You’ll Do
Define Direction and Make Tradeoffs
Set a clear product direction that reflects where the business is going, not just what
customers are asking for
Continuously decide what not to build, and ensure the team stays focused on high-
impact problems
Break broad company goals into specific product bets with expected outcomes
Revisit and adjust priorities quickly as new data or signals emerge
Turn Revenue Goals into Product Inputs
Deconstruct revenue targets into drivers like activation, conversion, expansion, and
retention
Identify where the product is underperforming across the funnel
Pinpoint which product changes can realistically move those numbers
Track whether shipped features actually change business outcomes, not just usage
metrics
Own the End-to-End Funnel
Build a clear view of the user journey from first touch to long-term usage
Understand where and why users drop off across onboarding, usage, and renewal
Work with GTM teams to ensure product experience aligns with how the product is sold
Close gaps between promise and reality in the product
Build Decision Infrastructure
Establish a reliable system for tracking product performance across teams
Ensure data from sales, marketing, and customer usage is connected and usable
Define what success looks like for every major initiative before it is built
Eliminate decisions based on incomplete or anecdotal information
Lead Product Execution Without Becoming a Bottleneck
Manage and guide Product Managers with clear expectations and ownership boundaries
Ensure teams move quickly while maintaining clarity on why something is being built
Step in on critical decisions, but avoid over-centralizing day-to-day execution
Maintain a high bar for quality, usability, and reliability
Operate Across Functions
Work with marketing to understand which segments convert and why
Work with customer-facing teams to identify friction in onboarding and daily usage
Work with sales to understand objections, deal blockers, and pilot outcomes
Work with engineering to balance speed, scalability, and technical
You are responsible for ensuring these functions are aligned through the product, not just communicating with each other.
Drive Product Adoption and Usage
Ensure new features are not just shipped, but actually discovered, understood, and used
Identify gaps in onboarding, education, and in-product guidance
Track feature adoption and intervene where usage does not meet expectations
Continuously improve how quickly users reach meaningful value
Establish Operating Discipline
Define and enforce clear KPIs for product and related functions
Ensure every initiative has a measurable outcome tied to business goals
Build a culture where teams regularly evaluate what is working and what is not
Push the organization toward evidence-based decision making
Maintain a Real-time Understanding of the Business
Stay on top of all key metrics across acquisition, conversion, and retention
Be able to explain changes in performance without needing separate analysis cycles
Identify risks early and act before they become visible problems
Maintain a strong grasp of both top-line and underlying drivers
Represent Product at the Company Level
Provide clear product narratives in leadership and investor discussions
Contribute to hiring decisions where product, GTM, and engineering intersect
Ensure the company’s external positioning reflects actual product strengths
Expectation Setting
You are expected to reduce ambiguity, not escalate it
You are expected to make decisions with imperfect information
You are expected to connect dots others don’t see
You are expected to own outcomes, not just output

We’re looking for someone who has seen how product decisions change business outcomes.Strong understanding of contracts, diligence processes, and advisory workflows

Ability to simplify complex problems into clear decisions
