About Lucio

Lucio is building the AI-native workspace for lawyers, bringing drafting, research, review, and compliance into a single intelligent system. We work closely with law firms to embed AI directly into real legal workflows, improving speed, accuracy, and outcomes.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Legal Engineer with a strong litigation background to work closely with our customers and internal teams from pilot through deployment and beyond.

This role sits at the intersection of law, technology, and client engagement. You will help translate real-world litigation workflows into scalable AI-powered solutions, ensuring our product delivers meaningful impact in high-stakes legal environments.

While the role has a clear litigation focus, it is intentionally designed to evolve based on business needs and individual strengths, with opportunities to contribute across product, customer success, and workflow design.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with law firms during pilots to understand litigation workflows, including drafting, discovery, and case strategy

  • Translate legal processes into structured workflows that can be supported by AI systems

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to refine and improve use cases

  • Support onboarding and ongoing adoption for litigation-focused teams

  • Act as a subject-matter expert for litigation use cases internally and externally

  • Contribute to broader initiatives across customer success, product feedback, and solution design as needed

Who This Is For

  • Lawyers with litigation experience (law firm or in-house)

  • Strong understanding of litigation lifecycle, documentation, and workflows

  • Interest in working at the intersection of law and technology

  • Ability to think structurally about legal processes and inefficiencies

  • Strong communication skills with both legal and non-legal stakeholders

Target & Compensation

Compensation is structured to reward meaningful impact on customer success, pilot conversions, and revenue outcomes. This is a role where top performers significantly outperform their base.

  • Equity component included

  • Performance-linked upside tied to customer outcomes and business impact

Why This Role

  • Work on real litigation workflows that directly shape how AI is used in legal practice

  • Stay close to the substance of legal work without traditional practice constraints

  • High ownership, with room to expand scope across teams and functions
